·         Post a link   to your website designed in  Assignment 3 :  https://peytonpclassroom.weebly.com/   ·         A paragraph about your daily use of AI tools: Personally, I do not use AI tools often and I think I have only used it once in my life. That one time was when I was writing a graduation speech and someone told me to have ChatGPT write one for me just to get some ideas and then I could edit it from there. It did end up working really well but I don’t think I have used it since then because I am always scared that if I use it for class I would get in trouble and I would rather just do the work myself. My only motivation to use AI comes from the fact that my research teacher told us that we could look up research topics for our big projects if we couldn’t think anything, but not to use it further than that. Blog Journal #2

-           My experience using MS Word as a kid before college was a pretty smooth experience. I never had any problems when doing assignments and if I did, my teachers would help me immediately. I have always found that word is easily accessible, it is right on my desktop when needed, the tools are easy to use, it’s easy to open new documents, etc.. To this day, as a college student, I prefer using Word over Google Docs and Pages. It is so much easier to keep track of my assignments through MS Word.  -         I personally really liked the article on ISTE Standards for Educators because I think all of the “titles” or descriptions that educators are given should be acknowledged and taught about every now and then so we are reminded of our influence on the students we are teaching. I personally think the one that is most meaningful to me is “Citizen”, because in order to create a society of “good people”, we are the ones that have to model that behavior considering students are around

·        Copyright and fair use: o     As a teacher, I imagine dealing with copyright is tricky because you want to use others’ work but also have to give them the credit and not copy too much. I think something I would strive to do is have a lesson plan written out for every week including the curriculum I am required to teach, and then I will go on the internet and research a certain number of activities for that topic of the day/week. Although I might be lazy and want to copy some of the worksheets word for word and print those out, I will alter each of them to be different but with a similar concept to still get the point across. If I am teaching a grade where they have to use other author’s work, I will make sure to teach them how to cite/source properly when needed, but hopefully the children will be at an age where they have more creativity and use their brains to come up with any activities/answers to assignments that are given to them.
